STEP 1 – Prep information sessions – NOW COMPLETE
New Families Information sessions for families considering enrolling a Prep child for 2022 at St George Preca Primary School are invited to attend any one of the scheduled sessions on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th or Wednesday 17th March and Wednesday 21 April.
Sessions will run from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at the school.
Numbers for each session are limited to 25 families. Children are not to attend.
Current families are invited to meet with the Principal to chat about their Prep 2022 enrolment at either the Term 1* or 3 parent-teacher interview evenings.

*Term 1 appointments are online due to COVIDnormal restrictions and Term 3 appointments will be advised at a later date.

STEP 2 – School Tours with the Principal*
New Families are required to book one of the following sessions:
Term 2: All appointment times are from 9:15am until 10:00am
Week 2 – Tues 27 April; Wed 28 April; Thurs 29 April
Week 4 – Tues 11 May; Wed 12 May; Thurs 13 May
Week 5 – Tues 18 May

STEP 3 – First offer applications close (ALL families) Friday 31 May at 4.00pm
Please ensure your application is submitted by this date if you wish to be considered for this first offer of enrolment. This is for both new and current families.
Applications will still be accepted at any time after this date based on any positions available.
STEP 4 – Confirmation of Enrolment 2022 – Thursday 24 June
Parents will be advised via email of confirmation of successful applications that were received by May 31.
Any applications after this date will be considered depending on any positions available.
STEP 5 – Preparation and orientation
SGP staff will be make contact with kinders listed on your enrolment to learn more about the children that have been confirmed to attend St George Preca Primary School in 2022.
2022 Preparation for school parent information nights will be held on 25 and 27 October. Links for booking will be emailed to accepted families the week prior so you book which session you will attend.
Due to COVID restrictions the information nights will be held online – links will be emailed once you have chosen your date.
Unless restrictions change, we are unable to host visitors to the school so orientation will be different for our Prep 2022 students. We will detail how orientation will work for these students at the information night.
Please Note: The enrolment process (including school tours) does not begin until the year prior to your child starting school. We do not have a waitlist and will not accept applications without all supporting documentation.
The 2022 enrolment form has been uploaded and is located on the left hand menu. There are two options for completing this document, you may submit an online digital form or you can download the form Once the downloaded enrolment form has been completed, it will need to be returned to the school office with ALL supporting documentation (listed below) via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in person.
A $50.00 non-refundable application fee applies for all new enrolments, if sending the enrolment by email we will contact you for payment prior to processing the enrolment application.

There are limited places available for this year (2021) However, due to high numbers, enrolment can only be considered for students that have been baptised Catholic and live within our parish school boundary. Our Year 4 classes are currently full for 2021.
Supporting documentation required at the time of submitting your enrolment form:
Baptsim Certificate, Birth Certificate, Proof of address (rates notice or lease agreement & bond receipt with 2 bills) an up to date Immunisation history statement, visa documents (if applicable)
